Army’s Computer Hardware, Enterprise Software and Solutions (CHESS) Information Technology Enterprise Solutions – Software 2, is a key contract vehicle managed by the CHESS program within the United States Army. CHESS is designed to support Army, DoD, and other Federal agencies in their procurement of IT hardware, software, and related services. ITES-SW2, specifically, is focused on providing commercial IT software, including related incidental services and hardware, to the Army and other federal agencies. The contract aims to streamline the procurement process, ensuring that the Army and participating entities have access to the latest commercial IT software solutions to meet their operational requirements efficiently and cost-effectively. This includes software for various purposes such as system lifecycle management, business processes, and infrastructure tasks, among others.
